We are inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK and China to apply to attend this workshop. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered. Deadline for applications is Thursday, 31st May 2018.
Participants: Clinical, basic and applied early career researchers who have an interest in and/or experience of working in the area of childhood respiratory disease.

Under the Researcher Links scheme, offered within the Newton Fund, the British Council and the National Natural Science Foundation of China are holding a workshop on the above theme at Chongqing Medical University in Chongqing, China on 15 to 18 October 2018. The workshop is being coordinated by experts from the University College London and Chongqing Medical University. Workshop participants include Early Career Researchers from universities in the UK and in China.
Eligibility: This is an Open Call for participants. Selection of participants will be based on their experience (up to 10 years post-PhD experience), relevance of their research to the workshop, motivation and ability to disseminate the workshop’s outcomes.
The British Council Researcher Links’ programme provides opportunities for early career researchers (ECRs) from the UK and internationally to interact, learn from each other and explore opportunities for building long-lasting research collaborations. During the workshop, early career researchers have the opportunity to present their research in the form of a short oral presentation and discuss it with established researchers and other ECRs. There is a focus on building up links for future collaborations.
